Any foreign language can come in handy at any point in a person’s life. A person may need to help give a stranger who only speaks Spanish directions somewhere for instance. Sometimes it is even very important professionally as well. If a biologist’s research leads to work in a Spanish speaking area then that possibly random class in college would be invaluable.
Boston College is not just about the types of classes. Boston College also has an impressive faculty teaching on campus. Many of the faculty is in fact Jesuits. The Jesuits have a rich history of striving to teach in the best manner possible. Boston College is dedicated to preserving the traditions of the Catholic Church while providing the highest education possible. There is a rich history of quality in education. Truly there can be no better place to go if one wants to study theology, but secular subjects are also a great thing to study there too.
The most important thing about Boston College is its location. A student learns more than just what is in his or her books when he or she goes off to college. Being in Boston can be an amazing experience. There are many other students also packed into the city. There are many opportunities for education in a social sense. Just going out shopping in the city a person can experience so much of life. A person also learns how to navigate a city, which can be a valuable skill to anyone looking to travel later in life or for work. Boston has so much to offer and is an amazing city full of history and culture.
